10+ Organically Grown Seeds — Pomodoro Cuore Antico di Acqui TermeThis incredible Italian heirloom came to us from our friend Mario in Italy, and the name translates to “Ancient Heart Tomato from Acqui Terme.” Acqui Terme is a picturesque city in Piedmont, northern Italy, famous for its thermal spas, truffles, and Monferrato red wines—and now, for producing one of the most remarkable paste tomatoes we’ve ever grown.This variety truly earns the title “mother of all sauce tomatoes.” The fruits are massive, heart-shaped paste types with dense, meaty flesh and very few seeds. Ours were enormous—true tankers. While most paste tomatoes are mild when eaten fresh, this one surprises with a sweet, rich flavor that shines whether raw or cooked. When simmered down, it yields a deep crimson, velvety sauce that’s absolutely exquisite.Because of its naturally low seed count, we’re offering it in very limited quantities under a strict seed count policy.
